ECHOMAP Plus 75sv

GRAHAMS THOUGHTS...

This echomap plus range includes a bunch of features which we wouldn’t have thought available for the price. Touch screen, Side Scanning sonar, built in charts, built in wifi, NMEA2000 compatibilty, network sharing between echomap units. They’re very impressive.

The buttons down the side are very handy for use when smaller boats are underway, and cover the simple things you’re likely to change while underway (zoom / combo selection) very well.

This 7″ Screen is a good size for a smaller boat or larger kayak

The included GT52 transducer has been designed for shallow water, with a high frequency and wide beam width. It’s perfect for around the harbour or lake and for spotting fish up to 50M depth. If you’re fishing deeper than this, take a look at the GT51 transducer. It’s an excellent upgrade.

The Garmin CHIRP Difference

The built-in sonar capabilities of ECHOMAP Plus 75sv include our CHIRP traditional sonar, one of the most sophisticated sonar technologies available for the fishing and boating public. CHIRP traditional sonar provides amazingly clear target separation and definition, because it puts even more energy onto the target than traditional sonar. It also provides traditional sonar support for Minn Kota® and MotorGuide®trolling motors with integrated transducers.

Clear Scanning Sonar Images

Garmin CHIRP ClearVü scanning sonar gives you a nearly photographic image of what’s below your boat. Garmin CHIRP SideVü shows you in incredible detail, what lies off to the sides of your boat. You clearly see structure, submerged objects and fish. Garmin CHIRP traditional sonar and CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü scanning sonars are combined into 1 transducer.
