Icom's MA-510TR marine transponder can receive both Class A and Class B transmitted. Automatic Identification System (AIS) signals and includes a GPS antenna. AIS data can be output from a USB cable connector on the rear panel (via a third-party application and a connection cable) and has a new navigation function that guides you to your specified AIS targets or waypoints (maximum 100 waypoints are selectable). The 4.3 inch, 10.92 centimeters IPS TFT colour display provides a wide viewing angle and is readable even under direct sunlight. The Collision Alarm and Anchor Winch functions are always on duty. The Collision Alarm sounds an alarm when an AIS target is closer than the set CPA/TCPA values. In the event that your vessel drifts while anchored, the Anchor Watch function will do the same.
